I am Zhi Yu, a student in the Jinhong No. 3 Junior High School. I am writing to all you, the good hearted people, today with an emotion charged feeling. Uncles, aunties, elder brothers and sisters, there are five of us in our family; father, mother, elder sister and younger brother. When I was in the fifth grade at the elementary school, my elder sister had to stop her schooling so that my brother and I could continue to go to school. Both my parents were tea farm laborers earning very low wages. Owing to the fact that both my brother and I are in the junior high schools, our family lives in poverty. Fortunately, your kind financial aid made it possible for me to continue my study with peace of mind.
I am now in my second year in the junior high school. I have always been diligent in my study, earning good grades. My teachers care about me and my classmates treated me nicely. If you have time, please come to visit our school. Our school is located in a tropical forest with lots of trees and plants surrounding us. I am very fond of my school. If you are venturous and not bothered by the long trip, you are welcome to visit my home. My home is located in the Tea Farm of the Hundred Flowers Mountain, Xiao-Mon-Yang.
