Why were they crying?
At a campfire before the end of summer camp, children knew a dozen of foreign teachers were leaving them, they cried loud and said, “Teacher, we do not want you go! “. They held tight to the teachers, dragging their hands, and some even cried hysterically to the point of choking. Why were they crying?Read more

My Sharing (Spring 2011)
It has been almost a year since the establishment of Hong Kong branch office on April 8th, 2010. We will hold a thanksgiving gathering in Hong Kong Evangelical Church (Yan Ho Church) at 3A Lee May Building, 788-790 Nathan Road, Kowloon, where we’ll share the vision of the Foundation on May 27.
Abundant Grace
Looking back at the past year, we experienced more grace from God than we could count. We were like living in dreams, and our God of wonders alone had led us all the way through. Originally our Hong Kong branch rented an office unit at Kowloon, but later the whole floor was taken by another organization. In fact, it was extremely difficult for us to rent another office given Hong Kong’s high costs. Not to mention that we did not want to spend too much of our raised fund on office overhead.Read more
My Sharing (2011 Winter Issue)
In 2010, we experienced countless blessings from God in our work.
The kindergarten added a new teacher who has a Montessori teaching license; the number of pupils in the kindergarten doubled last year’s number; three kindergarten teachers and a friend with a Buddhist background accepted Christ as their savior; twice we held free medical clinics; we conducted an in-service training workshop for the kindergarten teachers; twice we ran camps for the recipients of our financial aid; we set up an office in Lincang City, Yunnan Province, to systemize and institutionalize our medical services; we received the support of a Hong Kong medical supplies company, which donated medical supplies to us; we established our Hong Kong office, and we could hardly believe that we gained a more spacious place to work.
Looking ahead, we hope to focus on training and in-depth projects this year.Read more
My Sharing (2010 Spring)
Recently, out of concern, someone asked me whether the financial turmoil had affected the services and ministry development of the Go and Love Foundation. It would be impossible for me to answer, "No” to this question in that the crisis did, in fact, have an impact on the Foundation. But, amazingly, it has not stopped our work, because the one who called us is faithful, and His grace is abundant.
In mid-February, we organized a two-and-half-day camp in eastern China for the poor college students we sponsored. We arranged special seminars, movies, group sharing, and other programs. The students are fast learners. At the end of the camp, one student said that he now realized that he should establish a positive self-image, that he should not underestimate himself just because his family was poor, and that he should view himself objectively. Another student said that she had been depressed, but, through this camp, she learned how to rely on God and overcome her own weakness.Read more
My Sharing (2010 Fall)
Since its inception, the Go and Love Foundation has gone through many challenges and hardships, but we are still full of gratitude, because in adversity and hardships, more so than in times of prosperity and success, we learn to look up to and depend on the One who calls us. Through this quarter’s “Go and Love Foundation Quarterly,” we will report to those who support us the development of our recent work.

My Sharing (2009 Fall)
In May my friends and I visited a leprosy rehabilitation village near Lincang City in Yunnan Province. The village is now also called “natural village,” because after treatments, the leprosy patients here are basically no longer infectious, and they can live with their children.
When the head of the village led us into this village comprising only two rows of mud houses, the leprosy patients looked rather lonely and detached. When we reached out to hold their deformed hands and talked with them,Read more

What kind of investment in this world can bring faith, love, hope, and joy to people?
Look at these children! They have to live in poverty and suffer discrimination just because they have relatives who are suffering from leprosy. But, because some people are willing to invest their lives to care for these kids, we can now see smiles on their faces again.Read more
